Why Join

SMA Seattle is focused on bringing national quality, practitioner-focused speakers in to share best practice ideas and tools that will help you do your job better. Our goal is to maximize the time you invest in SMA Seattle, by keeping the content relevant to the world of an in-house recruiting professional or a partner to one. We will bring you practical information that helps you recruit better, faster, and cheaper than before, while also offering great networking opportunities in 2 hour informal lunch settings, and an annual full day staffing conference called the Staffing Symposium. SMA Seattle chapter members are part of SHRM (Society for Human Resource Management, www.shrm.org), the largest non-profit HR organization with just over 210,000 members worldwide. This association provides a wealth of resources to the HR and recruiting professional including: discounted meetings, seminars, conferences, a variety of professional publications including a subscription to HR Magazine, Staffing Management Magazine, and online resources.

After becoming a member of SHRM, you may choose to select SMA Seattle as your SHRM-affiliated chapter. SMA Seattle does not charge additional membership dues. Joining SMA Seattle in no way precludes participation in other SHRM chapters and is used by SHRM for statistical reporting and financial support program purposes only.

How to Join

It's pretty easy…If you're already a SHRM member, then it's free to affiliate with us – just complete the SHRM Primary Chapter Designation Form and return to us.

SHRM is running a special so it's now only $145 to join SHRM for the year (normally $160).
